Ocean Pines, MD (AP) Worcester County prosecutors are filing charges against most of the people caught playing in an illegal poker tournament in Ocean Pines.
The game was raided Friday at an empty store in the Village Square Shopping Center.
Twelve of the 15 people playing Texas Hold 'em are being charged with gambling.
The man leasing the store, 35-year-old Steven Foss, has been charged with betting and using a premises for gambling.
Charging documents say an undercover officer paid 40 dollars to join the game. While the officer was inside playing, uniformed officers raided the store.
Police seized $3,000 in cash.
