Coming to the Biltmore Hotel Oklahoma, Thursday through Saturday, March 17–19, The Pro-Am Poker Player’s Expo is the first stop on a nationwide tour of poker conventions. Poker has never been more popular, with the poker-playing community estimated at over 80 million people worldwide and growing, promoter Gary Stone has his sights set high. Starting this May, The Pro-Am Poker Player’s Expo will be touring the country with Stone hoping to ramp the tour up to as many as 50 cities per year.

Among the industry representatives will be poker authors, casino personnel, tournament promoters, gaming device manufacturers and a host of others. Renowned professional gambler turned author, Oklahoma’s own "Pody" Poe will be the featured guest on Thursday and Friday. He will be conducting a humorous and often titillating lecture on his life that no poker player, pro or amateur, will want to miss.
Gary Carson is the author of The Complete Book of Hold ’em Poker and The Complete Book of Casino Poker. Additionally, Gary has written articles for Card Player, Poker Digest, and Live Action Poker.
Guest Speaker Dan Michalski authors a weekly poker column for theSPORTSpage in Dallas, is a contributing editor at All In magazine, and runs the blog Pokerati.com. Dan’s résumé also includes award-winning work for several publications including Texas Monthly, Maxim, The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Men's Health, and Men's Journal.

The Pro-Am Poker Player’s Expo is an all-ages event. Tickets are $20 at the door with a 50% discount for military, students, and senior citizens. Children under 12 are admitted free. Convention-goers can get their $20 admission fee back at The Gaming Club Poker Room's booth by registering a new online poker account. This offer is limited to the first 350 people through the door.
No gambling will be allowed at the convention or on the hotel premises. Cameras and video cameras are welcome.
