Poker has taken over the lives of two Wichita entrepreneurs, who are managing the Amateur Poker League.
The league has grown in less than a year to 42,000 members in nine states. And every Friday night, 300 players gather to play Texas Hold 'Em at the south Wichita headquarters of Shawn Riley and Kurt McPhail.
Since November, they've become two of the main organizers of the Park City Poker Round Up. The tournament is scheduled for seven days in February, March and April at the Kansas Coliseum Pavilion.
The event is expected to draw as many as 17,500 people from around the country. Proceeds from optional $25 registration donations will go toward improving Park City's skateboard park.
