Poker Class Canceled

OREM-(KSL News) -- The popularity of poker is back, but apparently not in Utah County. A community class on Texas hold 'em is folding its cards because only three people signed up.

"We look for things that are of interest to the community. In this case, we saw that poker is a popular game going across the country."

Community Education Program Manager Russell Collett says no one complained about gambling and the class was just canceled because of lack of interest.

He says the teacher was not planning on using money for students to wager with.

Collett says they may try the course again another time.
