A poker game in Lawton turns deadly for one man, and his nephew is in custody. Police say Larry Phelps was hit in
the head several times by Roger Phelps during a poker game Friday night. Larry Phelps went home and to bed, but his
condition worsened and his wife called for an ambulance. Phelps died Sunday after being taken off life support.
Comanche County prosecutors initially charged Roger Phelps with aggravated assault but are now considering upgrading
the charge.
