I been toying with the idea of starting some kind of poker league, or leagues, and had some ideas that I thought were interesting.
One was a weekly NL tourney, for each league, like a 10+1, but add a $.50, so it would be a 10+1+.50, with the .50 going into a prize pool for a league end championship freeroll. Maybe top 10% of finishers in each weekly tourney would get seat in the championship and compete for the prize money using the standard pokerstars payout tables, or it could be set up to pay just top 3 finishers.
I'm sure we can work something out with Pokerstars to hold the prize pool in a safe account.
