Poker Tournament to be Held During ABL Convention

The 2005 American Beverage Licensees Convention will now include the Knob Creek Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament. This event is open to ABL Convention guests and will take place on Sunday, February 27, 2005. The 100-seat tournament will begin at 4:30pm in the Ballroom of the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The 1st place winner will take home $500, with $300 and $200 going to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers respectively.

i-Newswire, 2005-01-20 - Registration for the tournament is ongoing and open to all ABL Convention participants. Interested parties are strongly urged to sign up in advance for the tournament by calling the ABL Office at (301) 656-1494 or by emailing ABL at e-mail protected from spam bots. The deadline for registration by phone or email is February 18, 2005. On-site registration will be available at the ABL Registration Desk on Sunday, February 27, from 12:00 Noon – 2:00pm, if seats are still available.

This separate and free event is open to ABL Convention attendees until all seats are filled. Players are encouraged to arrive promptly at 4:30pm or a little early, as space is limited. Latecomers, regardless of pre-registration, will not be admitted to the tournament.
