Jack Binion, President of Horseshoe Gaming Holdings Corp., waits for a news confernce to start Wednesday, July, 6, 2005 at the World Series of Poker at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.The no-limit Texas Hold 'em main event starts Thursday. Between 5,000 and 6,600 players are expected and the top prize could reach $7.5 million. Binion was inducted into the poker hall of fame. He and his father, Benny Binion, are credited with starting the World Series of Poker in 1969.
